Not everyone needs a custom website

Probably 95% of the websites we make are our own custom creations. Most of our clients come to us because they want a professional website that doesn’t look like every other website out there. So that’s what we do. We pride ourselves in coming up with beautiful, original website designs for our clients.

But here’s a secret: not everyone needs a custom website

This is true. I would argue that it’s important for all businesses to have some sort of online presence. Even if you are a salon owner, an auto body repair shop, or a doctor… you need a place where clients can land, find your hours, see your services, and find your phone number. This is a minimum.

But you can do this without the high expense of a custom website if that’s not within your budget. A lot of businesses just skip doing a website once they learn the cost. Or they go the route of a self-made website using a click and build website creator that looks unprofessional and is hard to maintain. (I highly recommend against this.)

If you need an online presence, but can’t afford a custom site, we do offer a basic website package that will get you online with a professional looking website in a short period of time at a reasonable cost.

Here’s how it works:

• Instead of creating a custom design for you, we help you select a premium WordPress theme. We use high quality, professional themes. We’ll help you pick one that will work for your business.
• We’ll help you set up your web hosting account, if needed. We’ll help you decide on a domain, if needed. These are things you have to have for a website, and it’s best if you own these accounts in your own name.
• We’ll set up WordPress, install your theme, and put in your own logo if you have one, adjust colors to match your style, and put in your own content on up to five pages, including a basic contact form for your clients to contact you through.
• Then we’ll tell you how to manage the site yourself, or you can sign up for one of our support packages.

These sites may not be original in design, but they are professional sites that look great and get you online. You can customize these too, by adding a custom logo design to the package.
